Who We Are

About Al Jannah Academy

A structured and well equipped academy providing educational needs and an Islamic environment to Muslim children around Hillingdon area.

Our History & Approach

Founded in 2013, Al Jannah Academy was created with a simple but meaningful vision: to make Islamic learning engaging, enjoyable, and relevant for today’s children. As a team of qualified Muslim teachers with experience in mainstream education, we recognised the need to bring modern, activity-based teaching methods into the Islamic classroom—ensuring that every child learns in a way that is interactive, inspiring, and rooted in positive values.

The name Al-Jannah, meaning “paradise”, reflects a blessing shared across many faiths and symbolises our aspiration to nurture young hearts towards goodness, knowledge, and character.

Al Jannah Academy is a not-for-profit Islamic Saturday School located in Uxbridge, within the London Borough of Hillingdon. We welcome students from across West London—including Hayes, West Drayton, Uxbridge, Iver, Langley, Hounslow, and the surrounding areas.

Our classes are held at Bishopshalt High School on Royal Lane, where the well-equipped classrooms provide a familiar and supportive learning environment. These facilities allow us to maintain high educational standards and deliver lessons in a setting that children feel comfortable in.

We operate on Saturdays to meet the needs of parents and to ensure we can recruit professional, qualified staff who work during the week. The weekend timetable also gives our students the dedicated time and focus needed to learn, understand, and appreciate the beautiful religion of Islam.

At Al Jannah Academy, we remain committed to developing confident, capable, and conscientious young Muslims who will contribute positively to their families, communities, and wider society.

Our Core Values

At Al Jannah Academy, our values shape everything we do—from the way we teach to the environment we create for our students. We are committed to providing an educational experience that is safe, nurturing, and grounded in Islamic principles.

Professionalism & Strong Leadership

To ensure the Academy runs smoothly and effectively, we operate with a clear and professional management structure. Our leadership team carefully oversees curriculum, safeguarding, staff development, and the overall student experience, ensuring that every child receives a high-quality Islamic education.

Qualified, Caring & Diverse Teachers

Our teachers are thoughtfully selected based on their qualifications, experience, and commitment to nurturing young learners. Coming from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, they offer representation and role models that reflect the rich diversity of our Muslim community.

Every member of staff is fully DBS-checked, giving parents confidence that their children are learning in a safe and secure environment. In addition, we provide regular training and professional development to maintain consistent teaching standards and ensure our methods remain engaging, inclusive, and modern.

A Safe, Inclusive & Supportive Environment

We strive to create a school atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported. Our approach blends Islamic teachings with positive learning experiences that encourage confidence, good character, and mutual respect.

Commitment to Excellence

Al Jannah Academy is dedicated to developing confident, talented, and responsible young Muslims. Through structured learning, strong pastoral care, and inspiring role models, we aim to instil a love for knowledge and a passion for personal growth.

Nurturing the Whole Child

Our values focus not only on academic achievement but also on character development, good manners (akhlaq), spiritual growth, and community awareness—helping our students become positive contributors to society.
