Our Approach
Our approach encourages young learners to love their Creator and appreciate the positive values shared across all religions. We focus on understanding rather than memorisation, using modern, engaging techniques to keep children focused. Al Jannah Academy provides a safe, Islamic, and child-centred environment that nurtures good character and helps every student grow into a responsible and positive member of society.
Punctuality
Students must arrive on time at 10:58am and be collected promptly at 2:00pm.
There are two designated pick-up points:
- Levels N–2: Main Reception
- Levels 3 and above: Car Park
Please ensure timely pickup, as late collections may incur a £5 penalty fee.
Students aged 12 and above may arrive and leave independently with parental permission and responsibility.
Warnings
Any misconduct or disrespectful behaviour may result in a formal warning, suspension, or removal from the Academy.
Dress Code
Students are expected to dress modestly and in accordance with Islamic guidelines. Boys should ensure their legs are covered at least to the knee, and girls are encouraged to wear a headscarf or hijab. All students must wear loose-fitting, modest clothing, and clothing with inappropriate images or messages is not permitted.
Homework
Please ensure that all homework is completed to a high standard.
Students must bring all exercise books, their Qur’an or relevant Juz, and a fully equipped pencil case every week, with pencils sharpened and ready to use.
Before each half-term break, students will take a term assessment covering the topics taught during that period.
Notice Period
The Academy has the right to refuse and withdraw students at their own discretion. Parents can withdraw students at any stage with one month’s notice.
